Targeted lipidomics involves a focused analysis of a predetermined set of lipids. Using high-resolution mass spectrometry and isotope-labeled standards, our targeted analysis technique employs parallel reaction monitoring to specifically capture signals of target lipid molecules. This allows for the absolute quantification of these lipids, fulfilling the requirements for targeted detection and validation of lipid classes.
Wide Applicability: No species restrictions, no standard limitations.
High Throughput: Simultaneous detection of dozens of lipid molecules, saving on sample volume and experimental costs.
Quantification Ability: Sensitivity up to parts per million (ppm) level, with a linear range spanning 5-6 orders of magnitude.
